A true short story I wrote, titled “For Always Roaming With A Hungry Heart,” was selected to be turned into a film for the 2019 FilmCon Challenge in San Diego, CA! It will be produced and directed by a mostly – if not all – female team, which is awesome.
The story deals with the first grown-up LP I bought as a kid, Bruce Springsteen’s “Hungry Heart,” and how it changed me for life. It’s a mostly-funny look at the transformation of a little scared girl into a nomadic young woman. I can’t wait to see what the team does with it. It should be out in the fall; look for the update here.
